Valciveres is a beautiful, relatively unknown part of the Auvergne. Old stone mountain paths weave through the forest – clearing to give you spectacular views of the valley or across to the Puy de Dome and the Sancy. You rarely pass other walkers – it is a natural haven.. and in the evening all you will hear is the distant sound of a river and the occasional owl!
